Candle Light Reflections (Candle Light) ships all orders either UPS or USPS. Every shipment is packed in accordance with the carrier's standards and insured for the value of the product. Since the company ships according to carrier standards, all shipping claims will be brought directly to the carrier. Please contact me with any questions regarding this. See Shipping Damages below for more information.
All orders are shipped via UPS GROUND unless:
- They are shipping to a PO Box
- They shipping outside the 48 contiguous states
- The order weighs less than 1 pound
- The order is shipping to Canada. Canadian orders ship via Canada Post, except for DVDs and item numbers starting with J or PP. Those items will ship via USPS (but the rates to Canada still apply).
Shipping charges for all UPS GROUND SHIPMENTS is 10% of the order total, with a MINIMUM charge of $8.95. Standard Transit Time for UPS GROUND or USPS BASIC shipments is 7 - 10 business days.
Shipping Damages
All products are inspected before being shipped, but damages sometimes do occur during shipping. If your product is received damaged, it must be reported to the shipping company – usually UPS or USPS – within 24 hours. All boxes and packing material must be saved. It is possible that the shipping company may want to inspect these materials. Please notify me of the damage immediately after you have reported the claim to the shipping company. Upon receiving credit from the carrier, the product will be re-shipped.The Candle Light strives to ship products within 1-2 business days. If an order is placed early in a business day it will normally ship out the same day. If a partial order is shipped separately or backordered you will be emailed with additional tracking numbers or notified of the backorder date and when the item is expected to ship.
Orders will not be processed on weekends or holidays.
As soon as your product has been shipped you will be sent an email containing the tracking number. You can also track your shipping in order tracking on our website. This will allow you to follow your product easily over the internet or by phone.
If upon inspecting your products, you notice any broken or defective items, please contact us immediately. We will provide you with specific instructions for returning these items or for receiving a replacement, depending on the situation. We must be notified of any defects or damages within 30 days of receipt, in order to resolve the issue. Please do not attempt to return the merchandise without contacting us first. This will only hinder or delay any resolution to the problem. Also report any lost or missing items.
If at all possible, it will be helpful if you email us a picture of the damage, as we may be able to ship a replacement (of some items) without requiring a return of the original. Otherwise, we will have to wait until the item is returned before issuing a refund or exchange.
Candle Light Reflections (Candle Light) will refund the purchase price (not including shipping & handling) for any item which does not meet your expectations, provided the item is returned, and has not been damaged due to inproper care or usage. This guarantee is valid within 30 days of the date of purchase. Merchandise must be returned in it's original inner packing and must be in resaleable condition. Merchandise, merchandise packaging, and inner packing must bear no markings or be otherwise defaced or damaged. No credit will be given for items that do not meet these requirements.
